Warwick news

Located in the middle of England, University of Warwick is on the border of the Black County and Warwickshire. Its middle location means there is simple access to the cities of Birmingham and Coventry, and the old towns of Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and the stunning Royal Leamington Spa.

The university gains from its varied surroundings. There is the exciting vibe of the near proximity to big cities whilst the location is also diverse in history, with parts of the past still very clear in the landscape. Transport between main campus and the local towns is easy. Buses run back and forth to the University and local bus companies offer students reduced rate passes, making travel cheap and convenient.

The Gibbet Hill campus is situated two miles to the south of the city of Coventry, a vibrant city with above 300 000 inhabitants. Coventry is renowned for its cathedral and Lady Godiva. The city plays host to many of our students and provides a great range of pubs, theatres, cinemas, restaurants and shops. Coventry is a contemporary city. Not much remains of the unusual city centre due to damage done in World War Two.
